A former district-wide school volunteer, Landrum holds a Masters in Education in from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Texas A&M University. During her tenure on the Round Rock ISD Board of Trustees, she served six years as a Board Officer, including three critical years as Board President leading the district through pandemic recovery and complex board governance challenges.

Running on a non-partisan, student-centered platform, Landrum is committed to keeping students at the heart of every school board decision. Her legislative and board record reflects a strong commitment to practical fiscal management and teacher retention, including voting to approve balanced district budgets, authorizing a voter-approval tax rate election (VATRE) to increase starting teacher salaries to $58,000, and supporting a $998 million capital improvement bond to upgrade campus safety, technology, and facilities. Landrum's candidacy emphasizes non-doctrinal, civil board leadership that rejects hyper-partisan culture wars in favor of transparent, data-driven outcomes for all students.
